Majestic Mountain Vacations April 2006 Newsletter: Seasonal
Smoky Mountain Events and Special Offers
The
spring is a special time in the Smoky Mountains for several
reasons. First of all, March and April mark the time of
the year that fresh, Appalachian foliage burst forth amongst
the Tennessee hillside. Almost overnight the Smoky Mountains
region is transformed from winter’s snowy blanket
to spring’s celebration of new life. The Smoky Mountain
region is particularly stunning during the spring because
the area is home to such a diverse range of plant and
tree species.
A second reason why April makes for a great time to make
an East Tennessee getaway is that the famous Smoky Mountain
Springfest Festival takes kicks off in the three Smoky
Mountain sister cities of Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and
Gatlinburg. Just as with the surrounding Smokies, when
Springfest is launched, city streets undergo an overnight
change when beautiful displays of flowers and native plants
fill every nook and cranny. In addition to the beautiful
decorations offered during the Springfest festival, a
wide variety of special live entertainment acts, theatrical
presentations and craft shows are part of the festivities.
When it comes to making the most of a Smoky Mountain
vacation during this time of year, nothing really compares
with the lodging accommodations offered by the magnificent
Pigeon Forge cabins and Tennessee chalets available in
the area. A mountain cabin rental lets you and your family
or friends experience the time of the year where “everything
is new again” – both along the Appalachian
hillside and in the community spirit present during Springfest
in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville, TN. By lodging
in a log cabin rental, Tennessee visitors can enjoy the
very best of both these worlds.
Majestic Mountain Vacations provides some of the industry’s
premier Smoky Mountain rentals. These luxurious and handsomely
crafted mountain homes feature exquisite detailing, comfortable
furnishings, ultra-modern kitchen and games room facilities,
sprawling hard wood decks with hot tubs, and more! Majestic
